checked them out - they look fine when you click on them, but when you save target as, they get messed up. SO just copy paste it from the link after you open it.

Yikes, I downloaded the files and it just flat out doesn't load the text files properly. Therefore, it doesn't work, there are no players listed so nothing can be done. In fact I hit the DONE button and lists all the teams saying it made a ***.txt file click ok to mail it now and the app shutsdown.

Thats it thats all.

I'm getting a "Run-time error '53': File not found" message when I try to run the faeditor114.exe file. Any suggestions from people on how to get around this? Could use the help

you have to have all three files, downloaded into the same folder for it to work properly

just email me the offers then Owen.... Not sure why you cant get the files from anyone in the league. EVERYONE has them, just ask another GM. If you still cant find anyone, send them in an email...text format and i will put them in manually.

Yeah they were SUPPOSED to. Instead of playing e-mail tag and have offers not get sent in on time, all we had to do was put them here!!!!

This is where a website would come in handy. UFA files uploaded to website, GM sees files on website, downloads them. GM reviews players, submits.

Guys, I'm gonna say something here that'll probably piss a few of you off.

If you don't like how Brett is doing things why don't you step up and do something about it? All you guys do is b_tch, and yet don't ever offer to step up to do something about it.

Obviously Brett is having problems getting his emails all out. Why not once you get the copy from someone in the league you get it onto the board, rather then just complain that Brett's email isn't working.

I have a unique perspective on this as I was the number 1 critic of the spreadsheet and its lack of updates. I stepped into the role and have a whole new respect for the job Tom did in the role. Listening to Joe three to five times a day is enough to drive me right up the wall and out the window.

No, how about just getting it updated.. That might be easier for us then we won't bitch. lol..

I will bitch and bitch until i get an F'ing email. and it seems everyone i ask on YAHOO doesnt have files either so whats the use.

HERE IS MY OPEN OFFER TO BRETT OR ANY OTHER BOD WHO FEELS THEY NEED HELP.... I can help. I am willing to help. When I rejoined this league I even mentioned that I was interested in BOD activity stuff but was told I had to be here a few seasons. So.. here is my offer again.

The point is not the e-mails....as we all know this is a problem that will not be resolved any time soon. The point is the forum was where the new files were to be updated each time there was an update so "there would be no excuses". This was the fail safe. I don't blame people for being a little pissed off about this. This is a very important time for most people.

The options we have are either keep going on this same path of confusion and apathy or give this responsibility to the BOD as well. All we need is some kind of word on when the updates will be coming and where to find the most recent files (including the signed.txt).

guys...these links ARE updated every time i send out an email...even if i dont have time to change the stupipd text in the post. Here is a tip, DL the file from the link and click on properties...it will tell you when the file was createdf. then you can be sure it is updated. Other than that talk to another GM and get the most recent. I just got out of the hospital so my apologies for not being here last night, but @#%$ there are ways to figure it out yourself without bothering or complaining to me and the BOD every signle night.
